IASIA Welcomes Abdelmalek Essaâdi University as a New Corporate Member

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), the specialized entity of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), is pleased to officially welcome Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (UAE) in Morocco as a new Corporate Member. UAE’s membership strengthens IASIA’s commitment to advancing public administration education and research, further enhancing our mission to foster global standards of excellence in the field.

Located in northern Morocco, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University plays a critical role in the development of the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region. Established as a public institution in 1989, UAE comprises 10 faculties and 7 schools, offering a broad range of academic programs in sciences, technology, law, economics, management, humanities, and health sciences. With a student body of over 136,000 and a vibrant community of more than 4,000 doctoral researchers, the university is a key contributor to regional and national progress through research, innovation, and sustainable development initiatives.

The addition of UAE as a Corporate Member brings an important new voice to IASIA, particularly with its extensive experience in fostering international partnerships while remaining deeply engaged in regional challenges. UAE’s commitment to promoting academic excellence aligns with IASIA’s goals of strengthening public administration education and capacity-building worldwide.
